About the course

AP Human Geography examines the interaction between human societies and their environments, covering population, culture, urban development, and global issues. Emphasizing geographic concepts and spatial analysis, this relatively new course has gained popularity on Long Island in recent years. However, it remains one of the more challenging exams, with just slightly more than half of test-takers passing.
